Lea Thompson Directs New USA Network Series Anna Pigeon

Lea Thompson, famed for her role in Back to the Future, is executive producer and director of the upcoming USA Network crime drama Anna Pigeon. She directed four episodes of the wilderness‑based series, working with animal co‑stars and lead actress Tracy Spiridakos, and praised the cast for their professionalism. The show, which follows a park ranger investigating crimes, is set to premiere on August 7.

At the series’ Los Angeles premiere, Thompson said her daughter Zoey Deutch will not appear on the program, adding that the family often spends downtime together cooking and vacationing, but their busy schedules keep them from collaborating on the show.
