The Catanzaro section of the Association of PhD Students and Doctors in Italy (ADI) has renewed its leadership for the 2026-2028 biennium. During a virtual congress, Emanuele Pasquale Scigliano was unanimously reconfirmed as coordinator. Other key appointments include Linda Brancaleone as head of Organization, Bruna Campisano as treasurer, and Giuseppe Guido Maria Scarlata for the Medical-Pharmaceutical Area. The section approved a new statute and a political document focusing on promoting high-quality doctoral studies, research freedom, and combating discrimination.

In Cosenza, Arcigay has elected a new board of directors following a territorial congress held in Rende. Rosaria Alessia Buffone has been elected president. The new leadership team includes Pia Giusi Oliveti as secretary, Rita Dodaro as treasurer, and Niccolò De Luca and Alessandra Loizzo as councilors. The group aims to strengthen cultural and social activities, expand presence in peripheral areas, and focus on education regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and rights.
