Leadership changes reported in Bursa and Izmir municipalities

Significant administrative changes have occurred within two major Turkish municipalities. In Bursa, Mehmet Ercihan Subaşıoğlu has retired from his position as General Manager of BUSKİ, the agency responsible for the city's drinking water and sewage services. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba announced the retirement via social media, presenting Subaşıoğlu with a plaque to thank him for his service.

In Izmir, Yaşar Güven Güngörmüş has resigned from his role as Deputy Mayor of Karabağlar Municipality. A veteran of public bureaucracy, Güngörmüş served under both previous and current administrations. His resignation, which took place approximately three weeks ago, is reportedly attributed to administrative disagreements and differences in opinion regarding the internal management and operational processes of the municipality.
