Leadville Trail 100 MTB returns with revised course

The 32nd edition of the Leadville Trail 100 MTB, also known as the Race Across the Sky, is set to take place with a revised course following the Willow Fire. The updated 101.3-mile route includes a loop around Turquoise Lake before reconnecting with the traditional Powerline descent. The race features approximately 9,897 feet of climbing.

In the professional field, Keegan Swenson enters as a top contender, holding five consecutive Leadville wins and the current course record. Other notable competitors include Quinn Simmons, Lachlan Morton, and Michael Woods. On the women's side, Sofía Gómez Villafañe leads the series.

Among the participants is Eagle cyclist Brian Aberle, who is competing in honor of his family members lost to various illnesses and accidents since 2018.
