Leah Shutkever sets new burrito eating world record

British speed eater Leah Shutkever has set a new Guinness World Record for eating a burrito in 30.75 seconds. The attempt took place on August 4 at the Guinness World Records headquarters in London.

Shutkever, who holds 42 world records, reclaimed the title after it was previously held by American Miki Sudo, who had set a time of 31.47 seconds in October 2022. Shutkever previously held the record in 2019 and improved her own time in February 2022 before losing it.
