Leandro Lemos departs as Los Andes head coach

Leandro Lemos has departed from his role as head coach of Los Andes following a mutual agreement with the club's board of directors. The decision was precipitated by a 1-0 defeat against Chaco For Ever in Resistencia, which marked the team's fourth consecutive loss, including a recent loss in the derby against Temperley.

Lemos leaves after a 23-month tenure during which he led the club to promotion to the Primera Nacional and secured their subsequent stay in the second division. During his 72 matches in charge, he recorded 23 wins, 22 draws, and 27 losses, resulting in a 42.1% effectiveness rate.

With 11 matches remaining in the tournament, Los Andes will begin searching for a successor to stabilize the team and maintain their chances of qualifying for the Reducido.
