LEAP India IPO Opens with ₹744 Cr Anchor Funding
The logistics‑tech platform LEAP India began its public issue on August 7, opening the bidding window for a fresh issue of up to ₹480 cr and an offer‑for‑sale component of up to ₹2,000 cr. The price band is set at Rs 151‑159 per share, with a lot size of 94 shares for retail investors.
Anchor investors have committed roughly ₹743.6 cr, buying 4.67 cr equity shares at the upper band price of Rs 159. Major participants include Singapore’s sovereign‑wealth‑fund subsidiary Gamnat (GIC), Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Societe Generale and several Indian mutual‑fund schemes. The company, founded in 2013 by Sunu Mathew, offers supply‑chain asset‑pooling services and counts customers such as Coca‑Cola, Marico, Panasonic, Haier and Daikin among its users.
At the upper end of the price band, the IPO values LEAP India at about ₹7,004 cr (≈ $735 m). The issue will close on August 11, after which the shares are expected to list with an estimated gain of around 12 % based on current GMP indicators.
