Leapmotor expands EV lineup with new architectures and models

Leapmotor is expanding its electric vehicle lineup and technological architecture, supported by a strategic joint venture with Stellantis for European distribution.

The company has introduced the LEAP 5.0 New Mobile Space Architecture, a platform designed to increase cabin space by 19% and reduce component count by 18%. This architecture emphasizes software-driven centralization and a more compact component layout, including the potential to replace the traditional 12-volt battery with the main battery pack.

New model releases include the B03X, a compact electric crossover priced competitively at approximately €25,400. Despite its small footprint, the B03X offers significant interior space, a 405-liter trunk, and a 10-meter turning radius. Additionally, the B05 C-Hatchback is being positioned in the market, featuring a coupe-like design, rear-wheel drive, and a range of up to 482 km depending on the battery configuration.
