Leapmotor B03X electric crossover enters European market

The Leapmotor B03X, a new 100% electric B-segment crossover, has been introduced to European markets, including Italy and the Czech Republic. Positioned as a competitive alternative to hybrid B-SUVs, the vehicle aims to make electric mobility more accessible through aggressive pricing and strategic partnerships, such as Leapmotor’s synergy with Stellantis in Italy.

The B03X offers two battery configurations. The base version features a 39.8 kWh battery providing 130 kW of power and a WLTP range of approximately 292–298 km. A higher-spec version includes a 53 kWh battery, increasing power to 145 kW and extending the range to 382 km. The vehicle utilizes Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) 2.0 Plus technology to optimize interior space and structural rigidity.

Key features include a minimalist interior with a 14.6-inch central touchscreen running Leap OS 4.0, a 510-liter trunk capacity, and various advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In Italy, promotional pricing can bring the cost down to approximately 19,900 euros, while in the Czech Republic, introductory prices are noted around 560,000 CZK.
