Leapmotor expands electric vehicle sales and marketing in Italy and Brazil

Leapmotor, the Chinese electric‑vehicle brand backed by Stellantis, launched its new B05 compact sedan in Italy. The model, priced from €26,900 and offered at a €22,900 promotional rate, delivers 218 hp and up to 482 km of WLTP range. Its debut was supported by the "The Real Game" advertising campaign displayed on Milan’s Pirelli Tower, featuring a gamer‑to‑driver narrative.

In Brazil, Leapmotor has adopted flat‑rack shipping at the Itaguaí terminal, moving more than 1,800 vehicles—including the C10 electric, C10 plug‑in hybrid and B10 electric—using open‑metal platforms on container ships. The cars are then distributed via Stellantis logistics centres in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais before reaching dealerships.

The company also announced a rapid expansion of its Brazilian dealer network, adding 20 new stores to bring the total to 38 and aiming for nationwide coverage by year‑end. Production of the C10 and B10 models will soon shift to Stellantis’s Goiana plant, and Leapmotor previewed two new electric models for Brazil: the six‑seat C16 SUV (electric and series‑hybrid versions) with a projected range exceeding 1,000 km, and the B03X compact with 204 hp. These moves follow strong recent sales, with the brand reporting over 263,000 global deliveries in the first five months of 2026 and record monthly shipments of 81,500 units.
