Leapmotor B10 SUV and Renault 4 E-Tech Plein Sud debut as affordable electric models

Chinese‑owned Leapmotor introduced the B10 compact SUV, priced from €28,500 after discounts and a €380 incentive. The electric version carries a 56.2 kWh battery delivering a WLTP mixed range of 361 km, while a higher‑spec Pro Max offers a 67.1 kWh pack and 434 km range. A “New e‑Hybrid” variant adds an 18.8 kWh battery plus a thermal engine, extending total travel to about 900 km. The model is slated for launch by the end of 2025 and will be sold through Stellantis‑run dealerships, which already host 136 authorized Leapmotor points.

Renault revealed the 2026 4 E‑Tech Plein Sud, a compact electric crossover with a large fabric roof that opens electrically in ten seconds (92 × 80 cm). The vehicle is limited to the top two trims, equipped with a 52 kWh battery and a 150 hp motor, delivering a WLTP range of 395 km. Pricing starts at €36,900 for the Techno version and rises to €38,900 for the Iconic trim. The open‑roof design adds light and a “hair‑in‑the‑wind” experience while retaining a 420‑liter boot and 750 kg towing capacity.
