Leapmotor begins local electric vehicle production in Indonesia

Leapmotor has officially commenced local assembly of its electric vehicles in Indonesia. The B10 and C10 models are the first products to be manufactured at the PT National Assemblers Plant 3 facility in Purwakarta, West Java. This production initiative follows global manufacturing standards set by Leapmotor and Stellantis to ensure vehicle quality, safety, and reliability while increasing supply flexibility for the Indonesian market.

Isaac Yeo, Managing Director of Stellantis ASEAN, stated that Indonesia represents a major growth prospect for electric vehicles in Southeast Asia. Through a strategic collaboration with Indomobil, Leapmotor aims to accelerate electrification in the region and establish Indonesia as a key hub for electric vehicle development. The production facility is designed with high flexibility to scale capacity according to market demand and support an expanding product portfolio.
