Leapmotor launches B05 electric hatchback in Australia

Leapmotor has expanded its Australian lineup with the introduction of the B05, an electric hatchback targeting the small car segment. The model features a sleeker European-style silhouette compared to many other Chinese electric hatchbacks.

Developed with assistance from partner Stellantis, the B05 utilizes European suspension tuning and offers a rear-wheel-drive configuration with a 50:50 weight distribution. In Australia, the base Style variant is being offered at a promotional drive-away price of $35,990 until December 31, 2026. This pricing positions the vehicle competitively against rivals such as the MG 4 EV.
