Leapmotor overseas sales more than double in eight months

Leapmotor's overseas vehicle sales reached 105,000 units in the first eight months of 2026, representing a 121.1% increase compared to the total number of vehicles sold outside China in 2025. During the 2025 calendar year, the company recorded 47,500 overseas sales.

Globally, Leapmotor delivered 560,883 vehicles between January and August, a 70.55% increase over the same period last year. The company achieved record monthly deliveries in July and August, with August seeing 103,129 vehicles delivered, an 80.72% year-on-year increase.

Francesco Giacalone, Leapmotor International's global head of brand strategy, product and marketing, stated that while Europe remains a central market, the company is seeing growth in South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia. Leapmotor currently operates in over 50 markets across five continents with more than 1,000 sales and service locations outside of China. The company aims to reach a total of one million vehicle deliveries for the full year of 2026.
