Leapmotor reaches 1.5 million global deliveries and rolls out upgraded C‑Series SUVs

Leapmotor announced that its cumulative global deliveries have reached 1.5 million units, a rise from 1 million in just eight months. In May, the company delivered over 80,000 vehicles worldwide and exported more than 20,000 units. Its network now spans over 40 countries and 2,000 sales outlets, with profitability reported in its European operations and a market share above 30% for electric cars in Italy. The firm plans to establish a dual‑manufacturing base in Europe and Southeast Asia.

Financially, Leapmotor posted Q1 2026 revenue of ¥10.82 billion, up 8% year‑on‑year, while net loss widened to ¥3.9 billion. Deliveries in the quarter totaled 110,155 vehicles, including 40,901 exports. The company continues its “high‑spec, low‑price” strategy, launching three refreshed C‑Series models – C10, C11 and C16 – priced between ¥1.258 million and ¥1.698 million, featuring dual‑powertrain options, AR‑HUD displays and other upgraded features. More than 60% of Leapmotor’s components are now self‑developed, and AR‑HUD usage among C‑Series owners has reached 60%.

Leapmotor aims to hit one‑million annual sales, targeting monthly volumes above 100,000 units. To achieve this, it is expanding its product line with new A and D series models and preparing a flagship MPV, the D99, for a July launch, while reinforcing its overseas sales push with a 150,000‑unit export goal for the year.
