Leapmotor to debut B10 Ultra-Hybrid in Brazil at Festival Interlagos
Leapmotor has confirmed that the B10 Ultra-Hybrid will make its Brazilian debut during the Festival Interlagos, held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo from August 27 to 30, 2026.
The B10 Ultra-Hybrid utilizes Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology. In this system, a combustion engine functions solely as a generator to recharge the batteries, ensuring the vehicle maintains the driving dynamics and instant torque of a fully electric car while eliminating range anxiety.
While specific Brazilian configurations are yet to be finalized, the European version of the B10 REEV features a 218 hp electric motor paired with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. It includes an 18.8 kWh battery, offering approximately 80 km of electric-only range and a total range of up to 900 km. The model is expected to include features such as a 14.6-inch central display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, seven airbags, and Level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities via the Leap Pilot system.
