Leapmotor expands global electric vehicle presence

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor is undergoing significant global expansion, reporting record deliveries of 103,129 units in August 2026. The company is strengthening its presence in various markets through new model launches and dealership openings.

In Argentina, Leapmotor is expanding via Stellantis-backed distribution, with a new dealership recently inaugurated in Córdoba. Simultaneously, the startup Linktour is entering the Argentine market through SIDECO Americana to focus on small, intelligent urban electric vehicles.

In Europe, Leapmotor is seeing strong performance. In Italy, the T03 model has become a top seller in the battery electric vehicle (BEV) segment, particularly among individual customers. In Poland, the B05 hatchback has been introduced with a focus on sporty performance and competitive pricing. Additionally, the B03 model is being prepared for European production in Zaragoza, Spain, aiming to democratize electric mobility with an expected price point below 20,000 euros.
