Learnbay updates AI curriculum amid rising demand in India

The AI and data science upskilling platform Learnbay has restructured its curriculum to focus on Generative AI and real-world enterprise use cases. The update aims to prepare professionals for roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), which has seen a 1165% year-on-year growth in 2026.

This shift follows significant trends in the Indian labor market. The Naukri JobSpeak Index for July 2026 reported a 33% year-on-year increase in AI and Machine Learning job roles. Furthermore, demand for AI talent in India is projected to rise from 650,000 in 2022 to over 1.25 million by 2027.

The new curriculum emphasizes integrated systems rather than isolated models. This includes data retrieval, orchestration layers, evaluation, monitoring, and governance to meet the engineering and operational requirements sought by modern hiring managers.
