Leat Con 26 attracts record 11,700 professionals in Hamburg

The fifth edition of Leat Con, held from October 6 to 8, 2026, at the Hamburg Messe, recorded a significant turnout of over 11,700 professional visitors. Operating under the theme ‘Ignite. Together.’, the event expanded to occupy three halls and five specialized hubs: Live Tech, Stage Tech, Broadcast, Install, and Communicate.

The newly introduced Stage Tech hub, focusing on stage construction, control systems, and scenic technology, saw high engagement. The event featured an extensive program including seven stages, workshops, masterclasses, and live training sessions covering topics such as audio, lighting, video, AI, and production workflows.

While the Stage Tech and Live Tech sectors experienced high activity, the Broadcast sector saw quieter attendance, partly due to its proximity to the IBC trade fair. Marcel Courth, Managing Director of Unit leat at Ebner Media Group, noted that the event successfully functioned as a horizontal platform, encouraging cross-industry interaction between different technical sectors.
