Lebak Regency allocates Rp7.81 billion for religious educators

The Lebak Regency government has allocated Rp7.81 billion from the 2026 regional budget (APBD) to provide incentives for religious educators and leaders. The funding aims to support thousands of recipients across three main categories.

Specifically, Rp3.25 billion is designated for 5,425 Madrasah Diniyah teachers, providing Rp600,000 each. Additionally, Rp3.12 billion will be distributed to 12,481 teachers in the Maghrib Mengaji program at a rate of Rp250,000 per person. The remaining Rp1.44 billion is allocated to 1,600 Islamic boarding school (pondok pesantren) leaders, who will receive Rp900,000 each.

Iyan Fitriyana, Head of the People's Welfare Division of the Lebak Regional Secretariat, stated that the program is supported by various local regulations regarding Madrasah Diniyah, Islamic boarding schools, and the Maghrib Mengaji movement. The administration intends to continue strengthening religious sector development through the regional budget in coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
