Lebanese customs seize smuggled cosmetic injections in Metn

The Lebanese General Directorate of Customs announced the seizure of smuggled cosmetic injections and medicines following an investigation in the Antelias area.

After monitoring the movement of the goods, authorities identified a storage location and raided a residential apartment in the Metn region under judicial supervision. A large quantity of smuggled cosmetic products and injections was seized, and those involved were taken into custody for legal proceedings.

The Directorate warned that smugglers are increasingly using residential apartments, company offices, and commercial centers to hide goods and evade detection before distributing them to markets. Customs officials emphasized that their operations aim to track the entire supply chain, from the source to the final distribution points, to dismantle these networks.
