Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad unveils L'Envol couture collection for Fall‑Winter 2026‑27

Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad presented his Fall‑Winter 2026‑2027 couture collection titled “L’Envol” (French for flight). The 34‑piece collection draws on the motif of a bird in flight, symbolising freedom, elevation and a return to nature.

The runway shoot was staged in the Lebanese mountains, using the dramatic landscape of the Skylodge Lebanon area as a backdrop. Nakad said the setting reflects resilience and the deep bond between people and the natural world.

Designs feature layered tulle, feather‑like cuts, hand‑embroidered details and Swarovski‑cut crystals, with fabrics ranging from velvet and leather to silk. Highlights include mermaid‑style silhouettes, a modest wedding gown, and garments that evoke the lightness and movement of birds.
