Lebanese Parliament members hold football match for national unity

Members of the Lebanese Parliament participated in a football match at the Kamille Chamoun Sports Stadium in Beirut to conclude ‘Sports Week in Lebanon’. The event was organized and sponsored by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Nora Berqadarian.

Competing in two teams—one wearing white and the other red, both featuring the cedar emblem—the lawmakers from various competing political blocs played a 30-minute match divided into two 15-minute halves. The event utilized an open substitution system to allow maximum participation from various deputies and ministers. The match was intended as a gesture of national unity and peace through sports during a sensitive period for the country's political future.
