Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemns attacks on Saudi Arabia and Israeli violations

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has condemned attacks targeting vital facilities in Saudi Arabia, specifically mentioning King Khalid International Airport. He stated that such aggression poses a threat to the security and stability of both the Kingdom and the wider region. Aoun expressed Lebanon’s full solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people, emphasizing the importance of respecting national sovereignty and civilian infrastructure.

Separately, President Aoun addressed the ongoing situation in southern Lebanon during a meeting with U.S. Senator James Lankford. He accused Israel of violating the ‘Framework Agreement’ by continuing attacks in southern Lebanese villages from which it has not withdrawn. Aoun stressed Lebanon’s commitment to the agreement and called for pressure on Israel to adhere to its terms, stop the destruction of homes, and complete the return of prisoners. He noted that the Lebanese army continues its duties to establish state authority up to the internationally recognized borders.
