Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker returns to stage after 14-year hiatus

Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker has returned to performing following a 14-year absence from the stage. His comeback began with two sold-out concerts titled ‘The Return of the Absent’ at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 22 and 23, 2026. Shaker, who performed alongside his son Mohammad Shaker, had been away from the spotlight due to security issues related to the 2013 Abra events before surrendering to Lebanese authorities and being released on bail in July 2026.

Following the success in Riyadh, Shaker has announced an extensive tour schedule. He is set to perform in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, on October 30, followed by a concert in the Dead Sea region of Jordan on November 14. His tour will also include a performance in Qatar at the Katara Amphitheatre on November 12, and a highly anticipated concert in Abu Dhabi, UAE, at the Etihad Arena on November 20, 2026. Tickets for the Abu Dhabi show are scheduled to go on sale via Platinumlist on October 26.
