Lebanese Special Olympics launches health conference in Sidon

The Lebanese Special Olympics, supported by the Globalulisano Foundation, launched a family conference in Sidon to promote health awareness and expand medical services for families. The initiative was organized in collaboration with the Lions Club Beirut Midwest, Dalaa Hospital, and Al-Hamshari Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (Lebanon Region).

The event brought together medical professionals, local officials, and community leaders. Key speakers included Mohammad Nasser Al-Husseini, founder and president of the Lebanese Special Olympics, and Wafaa Al-Dahabi, representing Lions Clubs International District 351. The program included medical lectures led by specialists, such as Dr. Mohammad Sandid, President of the Lebanese Diabetes Association, aimed at providing preventative health education and fostering community solidarity.
