Lebanese University holds graduation ceremony in Rashaya

The Lebanese University held a graduation ceremony for students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration (Sixth Branch) and the Faculty of Public Health (Seventh Branch). The event took place at the Independence Castle in Rashaya and was attended by various academic, political, religious, and social figures.

Lebanese University President Professor Bassam Badran presided over the ceremony, alongside Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Metri and Member of Parliament Wael Abu Faour. During the event, Abu Faour emphasized the importance of educational decentralization, stating that it provides opportunities for graduates to remain in their local regions rather than migrating to major cities for education and employment.

Professor Badran addressed the graduates, noting that the celebration in Rashaya serves as a symbol of hope emerging from hardship and highlighted the connection between historical roots and academic awareness.
