Lebanon breaks ground on Harbata Government Hospital

Lebanese Minister of Public Health Rakan Nasser al-Din has laid the foundation stone for the Harbata Government Hospital. The project is funded by a 4 million dollar grant from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

The construction will be executed by the Council for Development and Reconstruction. The ceremony was attended by various officials, including the Kuwaiti Ambassador Mohammed Sultan al-Sharji and representatives of Speaker Nabih Berri.

Minister Nasser al-Din noted that the ministry will contribute to the operational budget to ensure the project's activation, following efforts to utilize funds through the Islamic Development Bank and the Kuwaiti Fund to improve the readiness of the public health sector.
