Lebanon Labor Minister meets with public administration employees

Lebanese Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar met with a delegation from the Public Administration Employees Association, led by Raed Hamadeh, to discuss the living conditions and demands of public sector workers. Minister Haidar emphasized that while the government recognizes the essential role employees play in maintaining state institutions and acknowledges their legitimate rights, any solutions must balance employee needs with the state's financial capabilities. He stressed the importance of sustainable, well-studied decisions over populist or immediate measures that could potentially harm the state's stability or repeat past economic collapses. Haidar committed to ongoing dialogue to find an integrated approach that preserves the dignity of workers while ensuring the continuity of public services.
