Lebanon, Maine, three-car crash leaves one seriously injured

A three-car collision occurred near Route 202 in Lebanon, Maine, on Saturday morning, resulting in serious injuries to one individual.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Samantha Hobbs of North Berwick was ejected from her Chevy Silverado after crossing a median into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle struck a Jeep Wrangler driven by 50-year-old Kelly Galarza and a Ford Expedition driven by Nestor Galarza. The Ford Expedition caught fire following the impact, but the Galarza family, including their daughter, managed to escape the flames.

Hobbs was transported via LifeFlight to Portsmouth Hospital with serious injuries. The Galarza family was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Frisbie Memorial Hospital and subsequently released. Four pets traveling with the family were also uninjured. The Maine State Police are investigating the incident.
