Lebanon war impacts featured in new documentary ‘Sem Trégua’
The documentary ‘Sem Trégua’ (No Truce) will premiere on GloboNews, focusing on the human consequences of the war in Lebanon. Journalist and documentarian Gabriel Chaim spent 20 days traveling through regions affected by bombings to document the impact of violence on thousands of families.
Chaim arrived in Beirut in late March 2026, shortly before a series of Israeli attacks caused widespread destruction across the country. The production captures devastated landscapes and features interviews with victims, authorities, medical professionals, and rescuers.
Central to the documentary is the story of seven-year-old Alina, a survivor of a bombing that killed her father and three-year-old sister. The film also explores how the conflict has altered daily life, showing families living in stadiums converted into shelters and documenting the impact on Christian communities and official state agents in southern Lebanon.
