Lebanon weather forecast: Storms and temperature drops expected
Lebanon is experiencing a brief period of stable, warm weather before a significant weather shift begins on Thursday morning. A low-pressure system centered west of Turkey is approaching the region, bringing relatively cold air masses, rain, thunderstorms, and active winds.
Starting Thursday, temperatures are expected to fall below seasonal averages. The weather will transition from partly cloudy to cloudy, with fog on the mountains and increased sea waves. Scattered rainfall, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and the possibility of hail, is anticipated.
By Friday, the impact of the low-pressure system will intensify. Temperatures will drop further, and rainfall is expected to become heavier in the afternoon, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, and potential hail. Unsettled weather conditions are projected to continue through the end of the week.
