Lebanon's President supports General Security during 81st anniversary

The speech also addressed recent political and media pressures facing the General Security, including controversies regarding recruitment exam results for officer and inspector ranks. President Aoun urged personnel and officers to remain unaffected by social media campaigns and media reports. He criticized those seeking to replace state institutions with clientelism, emphasizing the importance of merit-based success in recruitment despite political pressures to favor specific sectarian or regional interests.
