LeBron James Announces Retirement After 20 NBA Seasons

LeBron James announced his retirement from professional basketball during a press conference in Los Angeles, ending a 20‑season career that began in 2003. He highlighted his achievements, including over 40,000 points, ten NBA championships and four MVP awards, and thanked fans, teammates and coaches.

James also discussed future plans, saying he may stay involved in the sport through coaching, franchise management or charitable work.
