LeBron James becomes teammate of Jabari Walker

LeBron James has become teammates with Jabari Walker of the Philadelphia 76ers, marking a unique statistical milestone in his NBA career. Twenty-two years ago, in 2004, a 19-year-old James playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers faced Jabari’s father, Samaki Walker, during a regular season game against the Miami Heat.

Samaki Walker had a notable NBA career playing for teams including the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards, and Indiana Pacers before playing internationally in Russia, China, Syria, and South Korea.

Jabari Walker, who entered the NBA in 2022 via the Portland Trail Blazers, is now playing alongside James on a two-way contract with the 76ers. The two shared the court during a recent preseason game against the Boston Celtics, where Jabari scored 13 points in 19 minutes, while LeBron recorded eight points in 24 minutes.
