LeBron James' future remains undecided as agent Rich Paul denies talks

Agent Rich Paul told listeners on The Pat McAfee Show that he has had no conversation with LeBron James regarding the star's next season, calling all circulating rumors false. He said, “Believe nothing that’s out there because I haven’t had one conversation with him,” and dismissed suggestions of a trade, a contract extension, or a return to Cleveland.

Paul added that roughly 10‑12 NBA teams have contacted the Lakers' camp about James, noting interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and other franchises. James, 41 and turning 42 in December, finished last season averaging 20.9 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds. While his family’s deep roots in Los Angeles may tip the balance toward staying with the Lakers, the ultimate decision rests solely with James.
