Félix Lebrun wins historic Grand Smash titles in Malmö
French table tennis players Félix and Alexis Lebrun achieved historic success at the WTT Europe Smash in Malmö, Sweden. The brothers secured their second Grand Smash title together in the doubles category, defeating the Hong Kong pair Wong Chun Ting and Chan Baldwin in three sets.
Félix Lebrun, 19, followed this victory with a landmark performance in the men's singles competition. He became the first French player to win a Grand Smash title by defeating Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto 4-1 in the final. Throughout the tournament, Félix demonstrated exceptional form, losing only three sets in total during his singles run.
The event also saw notable performances from other top players, including Japan's Sora Matsushima, who defeated Sweden's Elias Ranefur in a seven-set quarterfinal, and China's Manyu Wang, who claimed the women's singles title.
