Lecce and Barletta report local disturbances and safety concerns

In Lecce, pieces of plaster and cement fell from a building cornice in Piazza Sant'Oronzo, near the Tentazioni gelateria. The collapse caused a loud noise that alarmed residents and passersby, though no injuries were reported as no one was directly underneath the debris at the time. The Vigili del Fuoco responded immediately with an aerial ladder to remove dangerous fragments and secure the area with safety tape.

In Barletta, residents of the historic center are threatening legal action due to uncontrolled nightlife. A local residents' committee reported ongoing issues with loud music, shouting, unauthorized motorized vehicle access in ZTL zones, and fireworks near historical sites like the Cathedral. The committee expressed frustration with some local merchants who have reportedly been uncooperative in addressing these disturbances.
