Lecce hosts Piano City music festival

Lecce is hosting the Piano City festival, an event that brings musical performances out of traditional concert halls and into various urban settings, including historic residences, museums, and courtyards. The festival runs until September 13 and is under the artistic direction of Gloria Campaner and Andrea ‘Andro’ Mariano.

A featured performance includes pianist and composer Roberta Di Mario at the Fiermonte Museum on September 10. Her work, titled ‘ALA’, is described as an elegy in three acts that explores the piano as both a physical object and a medium for emotional expression, blending classical and contemporary influences.
