Lecce: Man arrested for drug possession and assaulting security

A 26-year-old man from Fasano was arrested by the State Police in Lecce following a drug-related incident during a musical event. The arrest occurred after security personnel noticed suspicious behavior near the restroom area.

According to investigators, the individual attempted to discard a package in his trousers but was caught. During his attempt to flee, he allegedly assaulted two security guards, striking one in the face and causing injuries to another's chest and hand.

Police seized 13.9 grams of cocaine and 5.4 grams of ketamine, along with 125 euros in cash believed to be linked to drug dealing. The suspect has been placed under house arrest following orders from the public prosecutor.
