Italian football updates: Serie A and Serie C match preparations

Italian football updates feature several upcoming matches across Serie A and Serie C. In Serie C, Salernitana prepares to host Bari at the Arechi stadium. While Bari enters the match in strong form, sitting at the top of the table, Salernitana faces an injury crisis in defense and attack. Due to a long-standing friendship between the two clubs, Bari supporters have already sold out the away section, with many advised to use the Distinti Nord sector instead.

In Lecco, the match against Union Brescia is facing uncertainty regarding ticket sales. The National Observatory on Sports Events has deferred the decision to the Casms, meaning pre-sales remain frozen until security measures are evaluated. Local authorities have also announced traffic and parking restrictions around the Rigamonti-Ceppi stadium for the Sunday lunchtime kickoff.

In Serie A, Lecce is preparing for a home match against Bologna following the international break. Lecce aims to regain momentum after a loss to Milan, while Bologna faces squad depth issues due to injuries to Emil Holm and Jens Odgaard. Lecce also continues to work on improving its offensive output, as several attacking players have yet to score this season.
