Lecce is navigating the international break with various developments across its squad and youth academy. Manager Di Francesco has requested additional match tests to evaluate team balance, leading to a scheduled friendly against Altamura. The match features several former Lecce players, including coach Ledian Memushaj and goalkeeper Filippo Perucchini.

Regarding player performance, Ivan Ilić has emerged as a key contributor following his assists against Monza. Meanwhile, new signings are seeking integration; Willem Geubbels is working to regain a starting role following injury and early struggles, while Amar Fatah has shown promise through consistent appearances.

In the youth sector, Lecce's Under 15 and Under 16 teams both secured victories against Benevento in their respective National Championship Group C fixtures.
