Lecce Women and Tria Corda launch charity football project

Lecce Women and the volunteer organization Tria Corda ODV have launched a solidarity project titled ‘Un gol per un sorriso’ (A goal for a smile). The initiative aims to support hospitalized children in the Salento region through sports-based donations.

Under the agreement, local sponsors will donate 100 euros for every goal scored by the Lecce Women during their Serie C championship matches. An additional 100 euros will be donated for every clean sheet achieved by the team.

The funds will be used to finance adapted motor activity projects in the pediatric wards of hospitals in Scorrano, Galatina, and Gallipoli. These activities are designed to provide movement, play, and socialization opportunities for young patients, tailored to their specific clinical conditions to improve their well-being during hospitalization. The project was officially presented at the University of Salento.
