Lecco continues Manzoni festival with expanded cultural program

Following a successful initial weekend that saw sold-out events and over 600 participants, the “Lecco Città dei Promessi Sposi” festival has transitioned into its “Fuori Festival” phase. This extension aims to provide ongoing opportunities for residents and visitors to explore the cultural heritage of Alessandro Manzoni and his literary masterpiece.

The program includes educational workshops for primary schools at Villa Manzoni, such as “Semi di libertà” and “La Villa degli enigmi.” Upcoming events scheduled for October include the presentation of the book “Il menù dei Promessi Sposi” at Taverna ai Poggi, followed by a “Cena Manzoniana,” a themed dinner combining gastronomy with theatrical performances inspired by Manzoni’s work.
