Lecco province emergency services respond to multiple intoxication cases
Emergency services in the Lecco province responded to several medical emergencies between the evening of Friday, September 11, and the early hours of Saturday, September 12.
Three separate incidents of alcohol intoxication were reported. In Osnago, a 33-year-old man was treated for drug intoxication and transported to the hospital in yellow code (medium severity). In Lecco, a 44-year-old man was stabilized near the railway station before being taken to Manzoni Hospital in yellow code following excessive alcohol consumption. In Calco, an 18-year-old male was transported to Mandic Hospital in green code (less severe) after being assisted by the Croce Bianca of Merate. Finally, in Merate, a 22-year-old woman was treated and transported to the hospital in yellow code due to alcohol intoxication.
Local authorities noted that these types of incidents are not isolated occurrences within the Lecco territory.
