Lech Poznań advances to Europa League qualifiers with 5-0 win

Lech Poznań secured advancement to the fourth round of the Europa League qualifiers after a dominant 5-0 victory against Klaksvik on the Faroe Islands. Despite facing logistical challenges due to severe weather that delayed their arrival, the Polish champions controlled the match. Goals were scored by Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Pablo Rodriguez, Antoni Kozubal, Hakans, and Walemark.

However, the victory was tempered by a concerning injury to captain Mikael Ishak, who had to be substituted after experiencing thigh pain. Lech Poznań will now prepare to face the Swiss side FC Thun in the next round.

In domestic Polish football, Korona Kielce secured a 2-1 away victory against Widzew Łódź, with Morgan Fassbender scoring both goals for the visitors. Meanwhile, Siarka Tarnobrzeg ended a long winless streak with a decisive victory over AKS Busko-Zdrój, and Pogoń Siedlce earned their first win of the season by defeating Polonia Warszawa 1-0 thanks to a free kick by Szymon Kobusiński.
