Lech Poznań eyes new goalkeeper and defender in summer transfer window

Polish champions Lech Poznań are close to completing the signing of Turkish goalkeeper Mateusz Lis from Göztepe. The deal, reportedly worth about €1 million, is expected to be finalized in the coming days, with the player likely signing a three‑year contract. Lis finished the season with 16 clean sheets in 34 matches, earning recognition as the best keeper in Turkey's Super Lig.

At the same time, Lech and fellow Ekstraklasa side Górnik Zabrze are monitoring Ukrainian centre‑back Yevheniy Skyba, who currently plays for MFK Karviná in the Czech Republic. Both clubs have indicated interest in acquiring him for roughly €500 k to bolster their defensive options ahead of upcoming European campaigns. Skyba, 23, is praised for his height (1.90 m) and versatility, capable of playing as a centre‑back, right‑back or defensive midfielder.
