Lech Poznań player Ali Gholizadeh expected to return after winter break

Lech Poznań winger Ali Gholizadeh is expected to return to Poland in early November to begin the final stage of his rehabilitation. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since May following a severe left knee injury, specifically a torn cruciate ligament, sustained during a match against Motor Lublin.

After undergoing surgery in Tehran and receiving treatment on the Iberian Peninsula, Gholizadeh will focus on his recovery in Poznań. Maciej Henszel, Lech Poznań's communications manager, indicated that while the player is progressing, he will likely not be available for selection until after the winter break to avoid unnecessary risk.

In addition to Gholizadeh, Lech Poznań is managing several other injuries. Players such as Alex Douglas, Joao Moutinho, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, and Wojciech Mońka are currently unavailable. Sayyadmanesh has begun individual training, including jogging, but is not yet ready for full team activities.
