Lech Poznań signs Ghana defender Terry Yegbe from FC Metz for €3 million
Polish champions Lech Poznań have completed the permanent transfer of 25‑year‑old Ghana international centre‑back Terry Yegbe from French Ligue 1 side FC Metz. The defender signed a four‑year contract that runs until 30 June 2030, with the deal reported to be worth around €3 million – the second‑most expensive acquisition in Lech’s history.
Yegbe arrived in Poznań for his medical on Tuesday and finalised the paperwork on Wednesday. He joins Lech after a season at Metz where he made 24 league appearances, having previously played in Finland, Sweden and the French top flight. The club expects the tall, left‑footed defender to bolster its back line as it prepares for a push for Champions League qualification.
