Lech Poznań signs goalkeeper Mateusz Lis and sells midfielder Kornel Lisman to Venezia

Lech Poznań announced the permanent transfer of midfielder Kornel Lisman to Serie A club Venezia. The move, described by Italian media as an “unexpected reinforcement,” will see Lisman join the Italian side on a three‑year contract for a reported fee of €2.5 million plus bonuses. During his three seasons with Lech, the 21‑year‑old made 33 first‑team appearances and recorded one assist.

In a separate deal, Lech re‑signed goalkeeper Mateusz Lis from Turkish side Göztepe. The 29‑year‑old, who captained Göztepe and was named the best goalkeeper in the Turkish Süper Lig, returned for a fee of €1 million. Lis said the club convinced him quickly and he looks forward to adapting to Lech’s defensive system, which uses a back four instead of the three‑centre‑back shape he played with in Turkey.
